I have quite a few Instagram pages that I fawn over and this particular one is of Fabiano Millani who is an exceptional artist. I enjoy watching his videos of each painting develops over time and the effort and detail that goes into each one.

I was especially taken with his painting of Jesus Christ and was inspired to try and recreate his art. The above is my rendition in watercolour whereas his is in oils I believe.

In any case I love the emotion that has been captured in his work and only hope I have done it justice.
